Sämtliche Objekte ohne Eigentumsangabe und ohne die unten genannten Bezeichnungen 
stammen aus österreichischem (vorwiegend Wiener) Privatbesitz. Die im Katalogteil (S. 499 
ff.) angeführten Objekte sind aus jener Wiener Privatsammlung, die den Anstoß zur Publika 
tionsreihe „Wiener Silber 1780 - 1866“ gegeben hat. 
Alle mit „Inv.“ bezeichneten Objekte stammen aus den Sammlungen des Österreichischen 
Museums für angewandte Kunst in Wien, die als „historische Photos", mit „Ausst. Wien 1904“ 
und „Ausst. Wien 1907“ bezeichneten Abbildungen aus der Bibliothek und Kunstblätter 
sammlung desselben Museums.
