The advantages of the Double Action 
Steam Hammer for Forging are, its being 
capable of being worked up to 200 strokes 
per minute, or from three to four times 
faster (when required) than any other ham- 
mer; the power can be more than doubled, 
and the length of stroke and force of blow 
altered instantaneously.

Ces marteaux sont de tout poids, depuis 
un \ quintal jusqu’4 50 tonnes. 
L’avantage du Marteau Pilon 4 Double 
Action consiste en ce qu’il peut frapper 200 
coups par minute, ou 3 ou 4 fois plus vite 
(si besoin est) que les autres; sa puissance 
peut etre plus que doublee, et le nombre et 
la force des coups peuvent etre changes 
presque instantanement.
