One rarely finds such a complete marking, including craftsmen’s marks on such a late 
object as the goblet (Figs. 232-235, pp. 198-201). Craftsmen’s marks hardly appear on 
Wiener Werkstätte objects after about 1910, perhaps due to the change-over from 
manual to factory production (cf. Neuwirth, WW Avantgarde 1984, p. 18).
