führten Lieferungen der Firma Berger (vom
6. bis 14.11.1911) die Karte allerdings
zählt, kann man nicht sagen. Diese Liefe
rungen umfaßten eine Gesamtstückzahl
von 9.129 Karten, als Verkaufspreise wur
den -,80 Kronen kalkuliert (dies entspricht
im Kaufkraftvergleich Nov. 1911 - Nov.
1983 einem Betrag von S 29,05).

The calculation book (WWMB 46, p. 1650)
mentions deliveries of “picture cards”
by the firms of A. Berger (July 1912) and
Rosenbaum. An additional note in pencil
“WeWe hats Mela Köhler” refers to the
subject. This postcard may be considered
in this context.

CARD
Design: Mela Köhler, around 1911
Serial number: card no. 425
Dimensions: 24.1 x 15.6 cm
Marks: “MELA KOEHLER” (front), back un-
marked
AMAA, Inv. K.I. 9121/15
A calculation book (WWMB 46, p. 1657)
contains one of the few references that
help us to identify a specific postcard:
“Modekarten gross”, with the numbers
420, 421, 422, 424, 425 and 426. There
can be no doubt that the above card (no.
425) belongs to this series. However, it is
impossible to teil which of the four con-
signments from Berger (6th - 14th Novem
ber 1911) the card was in. These consign-
ments comprised a total of 9,129 cards,
the retail price of which was calculated in
November 1911 as 0.80 crowns (this cor-
responds to S 29,05 today - November
1983).
