MARKEN UND MONOGRAMME DER WIENER WERKSTÄTTE (STEMPEL) 
Die Wiener Werkstätte verwendete verschiedene Kennzeichen: 
1. Firmenmarken und -signets (drei davon - die Rosenmarke, die Wortmarke WIENER 
WERKSTÄTTE und das WW-Monogramm - wurden markenrechtlich registriert) 
2. Künstlermonogramme (die abgebildeten sind dem „Arbeitsprogramm" von 1905 sowie 
dem Jubiläumsband von 1929 entnommen; die hier erstmals publizierten Monogram 
me von Carl Witzmann und Karl Breuer sowie das noch nicht aufgelöste Monogramm 
FB stammen aus Kalkulationsbüchern der WW) 
3. Monogramme der ausführenden Handwerker (alle aus dem „Arbeitsprogramm“ von 
1905

(STAMPS) 
The Wiener Werkstätte used various marks: 
1. Trade marks and Symbols. Three were registered: the rose mark, the mark WIENER 
WERKSTÄTTE and the WW monogram 
2. Artist’s monograms: The monograms illustrated here were published in the “Pro 
gramme” of the Wiener Werkstätte of 1905 and in the publication of 1929 (cat. no. 
165); the monograms of Carl Witzmann and Karl Breuer, and the unidentified mono 
gram FB are taken from the calculation books of the Wiener Werkstätte 
3. Craftsmen’s monograms: first published in the “Programme” of the Wiener Werkstätte 
of 1905 
TRADE MARKS OF THE WIENER WERKSTÄTTE 
1903 The “rose mark” was registered for the first time. This was probably the year 
in which the Wiener Werkstätte monogram in an oval was registered as a 
hall-mark 
1913 “WIENER WERKSTÄTTE” first registered as a trade mark 
1914 Wiener Werkstätte monogram (WW) first registered
