Der Vergleich eines Colliers von Kolo Mo 
ser mit zwei Colliers von Josef Hoffmann 
scheint deshalb aufschlußreich, da sie 
nahezu identische Einzelmotive auf cha 
rakteristische Weise einsetzen. Besonders 
bemerkenswert sind die sehr tektonisch 
wirkenden Vertikalen bei Josef Hoffmann, 
da sie die spitzovalen, blattartigen Formen 
axial durchschneiden. Die Opale im Collier 
von Kolo Moser hingegen sitzen auf den 
dünnen Vertikalen.

It is interesting to compare a necklace by 
Kolo Moser with two by Josef Hoffmann 
because they each use almost identical in 
dividual motifs in a characteristic manner. 
It is especially worth noting the tectonic 
effect of Hoffmann’s vertical lines, cutting 
through the axes of the ovoid leaf-like 
shapes. The opals in the necklace by Kolo 
Moser, on the other hand, are placed 
above the thin vertical lines.
