Eine Frau steht unter einem Baldachin aus Baumästen
und Blumen. Sie wird durch kleinere Figuren eines spitz-
bärtigen Mannes, Agnis, und einer Frau begleitet; in den
Armen hält sie ein Kind. Nach Inschrift auf dem Sockel;
»Karttikeya von Ganga aufgezogen, der er von Agni an
vertraut worden war."

A lady standing under an arboreal canopy, fondling a child
which she holds up in her hands. On her left Stands a small beard-
ed male figure (Agni) and on her right, a female similarly dress-
ed. Inscription on pedestal; "Karttikeya, nursed by Ganga, to
whose care he was consigned by Agni."
