A  Nayika  Standing  under  a  canopy  of  the  branches  of  a  fig-tree,
engaged  at  her  toilet,  holding  in  front  ot  her  face  a  mirror  in  the
left  hand;  right  hand  raised  above  her  head  is  engaged  in  applying
  vermilion  mark  at  the  parting  of  the  hair.

215*  Fragment  vom  Kapitell  eines  Hindu-Tempels.

Eine  Nayika  steht,  beiderseits  von  kleineren  Figuren  begleitet, ­
  unter  einem  Baldachin  aus  den  Zweigen  eines  Feigenbaumes. ­
  Mit  der  Linken  hält  sie  einen  Spiegel,  mit  der
Rechten  bringt  sie  auf  der  Stirn  ein  Schönheilszeichen  aus
Purpur  an.  Sie  steht  in  der  Tribhanga-Pose.
