The earliest order numbers for this flower set, which was based on the decoration of the
“octogonal black bronzite” toilet set, date from the year 1914.

These flower sets normally consisted of cylindrical flower vases (shape no. A 8141-11)
and oval flower bowls (jardinieres, shape no. A 8142-11), supplemented by smaller violet
jardinieres (shape no. 1087-12). From 1911/12 they were produced with variant D and E
brown bronzite and variant F black bronzite decoration. Not infrequently the shape num
bers got mixed up in the Order books of the Lobmeyr Company. Around 1918 another
shape number is specified for the flower vase (“8722-18 like 8141-11").
