wollen aber sehr nett!! Die Mattätzung
reicht über den oberen Rand hinüber /
Innen aber bleibt der Becher glatt (nicht
geätzt) /1 Muster schwarz Bronzit.,,

Marking: “Water glass T. S. black bronzite,
var. A / M. no. F 206-11 / 8 balls in the
round / arranged exactly according to this
drawing / 8 clear ground balls in the round
which you can have done by an engraver
there, but very nicely!! The mat etching
extends beyond the upper edge / But
inside the beaker remains smooth (not
etched) /1 sample black bronzite.”
Further notes in pencil, later rubbed out,
hardly legible: “(?) Eiselt to (?)-18 / to
206-11 /7. 9./to 224-12/ 12. 1. 12 / to
