The punch bowl in the 
centre is Roman in design, 
the frieze round the border being a re- 
duction of the celebrated Eigin Marbles 
in the British Museum. The material 
is Gold Plate. 
The Vases on either side, in Silver 
Gilt and Oxydized, are respectively 
Egyptian and Grecian in character; the 
one representing episodes in the life of 
Antony and Cleopatra, the other repozissö 
figures of Prudence and Imprudence. 
The claret jugs in Silver are also classical 
in outline and details. 
These works are due to designs by 
various artists employed by Elkington 
and Co.
