first time in the second half of the 1920s, and
clearly revokes the radicalism of Wagner’s de-
sign. A carpentered, string-covered seat was
placed on two identical bentwood frames,
once again made of bentwood rods, which
are reinforced by two u-shaped braces. This
stool was placed next to armchair A 60 F in
the Thonet-Mundus Zentralanzeiger from July
1929: The design of these two bentwood fur-
niture pieces is obviously influenced by the
tubulär Steel furniture fashion of the time.
